Our clients are a leading, well established and highly reputed investment services company providing a wide array of investment services. The Company is a member of the Malta Stock Exchange and is licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority.
The Finance and Administration Assistant will be reporting to the Head of Finance. Duties will include but are not limited to: accounting for company and client transactions in the accounting/portfolio management system; assisting in pre-trading and post-trading administrative duties; creation of periodic reports as may be required for compliance, front office and/or management accounting purposes; handling of other necessary day-to-day finance, reporting and administrative duties in an effective and timely manner whilst also assisting other staff members in any other finance or administrative duties as may be necessary from time to time.
This position calls for a smart, proactive, trustworthy, analytical team player who is extremely organised and able to meet tight deadlines. It is a must that candidates applying for this role are computer literate, particularly in the use of financial software, MS Excel and MS Word, including the use of mail merge and pivot tables whilst also having proficiency in the English language. Applicants must be in possession of an A-level qualification in Accounting, whilst candidates who are in the process of completing an ACCA qualification or equivalent will also be considered.

Previous experience working within the financial services industry, the audit of financial services companies, together with experience in day-to-day accounting will be considered an asset.
