Help? (Malta)

Hello Everyone,
I would like to explore the possibility of retiring in Malta. Does anyone rent a bed to guests? I would like to explore, to see where I might like to live. Could you recommend your city? I see that the cost of living has caught up with much of the world. How are you coping? What advice can you give?
