The ideal candidate must possess a University Degree in ICT, Engineering or related field with excellent problem solving skills, hands on experience in Windows systems administration and be Microsoft Certified in the Server Infrastructure competency. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server Protected content , as well as a comprehensive knowledge of networking technologies would be preferable. The chosen candidate will be expected to have the ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing his/her own workload and time, appraising situations and developing or recommending improvements. Vendor specific certifications from Cisco, Dell, HP and VMware are highly desirable for this position. The Information Systems Support Engineer will be responsible for the installation and configuration of software, hardware, operating systems and data networking equipment; the provision of resolutions or recommendations for problems assigned in specific product areas; the documentation of implemented projects while also attending to non-routine calls within a predefined time frame related to complex server, storage setups, networking and operating systems on a 24x7 "on-call" basis. A minimum of 3 years' experience in Windows Systems Administration is essential.
