Moving! (Malta)

Hello, we are seriously thinking of moving to Malta by the end of the year and I could really do with some advice. I have a 12yr old daughter and would like some ideas on good English speaking schools for her please and also have a 16yr old who is due to start college in the UK this year. Are there good, equivalent colleges in Malta? She wants to go to university to become a primary school teacher and I am hoping that Malta could offer the same as a UK university. Also, realistically what would our monthly income need to be to have a nice quality of life? So sorry for all the questions but really need to get everything right :) A not too worried about me picking up work as I have a variety of skills, but my husband is a builder and knows nothing else, would you know what the work is like in construction?
