SPECIAL OPEN DAY AT THE MALTA AT WAR MUSEUM

A special open day will be held at the Malta at War Museum, Couvre Porte, Vittoriosa on Saturday, 13 December Protected content Day) from 10. Protected content . The visiting public will have the unique opportunity of visiting the newly refurbished museum and underground air-raid shelters and viewing the temporary exhibition entitled 'Christmas in Wartime Malta'. There will be live historic interpretation sessions providing information about subjects such air raid signals, protection against gas attack and wartime food.

Traditional Maltese Christmas specialities like honey-rings and 'imbuljuta' will be available on site at the newly established museum cafeteria, which will also serve hot and cold drinks and light snacks.

Entrance fees: €10 per adult, €8 for pensioners and €2 for children; or €25 for a family group of two adults and three children u/16 years of age.

Wirtartna Friends will enter for free.
