SEO specialist - 1403020 (Malta)

Skills: This position calls for a hardworking and determined individual with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a keen eye for detail. Applicants should have strong analytical skills together with project management, team management & leadership skills. Proven knowledge of Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential for this role. Candidates must to be sharp and able to deliver results whilst working under pressure and abiding to tight deadlines. Knowledge and understanding of search engine requirements for ranking together with experience in Google analytics and SMO, Tracking and conversion rate optimization are needed for this role. Experience in link building is a must for this role.
Experience: Candidate would require a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working within an SEO environment.
Duties: The selected candidate will be responsible for the Google ranking and listing of all sites related to CSB Group. The SEO specialist’s duties will include: Creating and organising long –term strategy and optimisation activities against the company’s business priorities; driving of international SEO expansion into key markets; usage of various tools to define SEO success metrics; developing and managing in-depth reporting; measuring of conversions and communicating performance and insights that show progress toward KPIs; writing content for blogs; regular data monitoring for increase/dips in performance and assistance in identifying new opportunities for the various business unit; developing comprehensive page-level and site-wide recommendations to secure quality traffic based on this; developing of competitor analysis – maintaining company’s competitiveness SEO-wise; creating and updating of key word lists across brands; providing guidance on content creation and strategy; actively supporting and participating in the company’s social media strategy, including SEO support and recommendations of PR, blogs, Video and Social Media channels, etc.; analysing web traffic (Google analytics etc) and producing summarised reports with recommendations; optimising sites for different search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing etc); on and off-site optimisation(link acquisition and link building) – paid/unpaid; assisting the Marketing Department with the setting up of Google Adwords/other digital communication initiatives vis-à-vis keywords; providing compliance audits of required and managing penalisation risks; remaining current with all search engine algorithm changes and industry trends and regularly inform and educated the rest of the company on emerging SEO technologies, opportunities and best practices while also educating colleagues in SEO, traffic acquisition methods and link building opportunities across the company’s networks.
