Shipping, UK to Malta

Hi, We are in the first stages of organising our move from the UK to Malta. First quotes for Shipping and full moving has been really expensive. Can anyone recommend a shipping company that will give a good deal? Or any other money saving tips? (I think we have ruled out driving the car)
We will have to move a Peugeot Protected content personal items equivalent to a one bed apartment.
