This position calls for a smart, meticulous, outgoing and hard working individual with excellent written and verbal skills. Applicants must also have excellent organisational and communication skills. Knowledge of Agile and PRINCE2 methodologies and prior experience in software development projects including systems analysis, design and product development are preferred. Candidates must have the ability to keep control of requirements and issues, to properly document them and to work lists to a conclusion.The Technical Project Manager will plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver projects according to plan and in good quality. Such role entails working closely with Research and Development and other technical teams. The duties will include but are not limited to: planning, scheduling, estimating, forecasting, coordinating, controlling, managing and delivering all activities for projects and related releases; liaising with clients and managing issues with deployment during roll out phase; managing project resource allocation; planning and scheduling project timelines; identifying and managing project dependencies and critical paths; proactively managing changes in project scopes, identifying potential crises and devising contingency plans; identifying and resolving issues and conflicts within the project team; tracking deliverables using appropriate tools; monitoring and reporting on project progress to all stakeholders; liaising with project stakeholders on an on-going basis; conducting project post mortems and creating recommendations reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements and providing assistance and recommendations to constantly improve internal project management practises and tools for project execution and management.
A bachelor’s degree in IT and/or relevant working experience is a must.
