Opening a bank account in Managua

Hi,
I am a newbie on here and I would like some advise on how hard it is to open a bank account in Nicaragua?
I do not live there and I am coming from the USA. Do you have to be a citizen
in the country to open an account?
I have a large amount of cash and I know I can't bring it with me out of the usa.

Please any and all help will be appreciated.
