Good places to read (Manama)

Hi!
I'm a Korean-Kiwi currently working in KSA. I often do weekend getaways to Bahrain to get mg regular dose of normalcy! I've already done the rounds at the malls and sightseeing places. Are there any nice places to just read? Cafes or parks would be absolutely awesome! Also, are there ny active book clubs for expats in Bahrain?
One last question! Are there any nice, non-dodgy bars for casual quiet drinks?
