Just moved to Bahrain :) (Manama)

Hi everyone

I have just moved to Bahrain last week from England and would like to know whats the best places for meeting people, socialising and making new friends. I dont know anyone here and it gets a bit boring at times. I moved out here in seek of work as the UK doesnt really have anything to offer.

I have been to a few clubs and bars but again its not the best of places to go alone.

Are there any events coming up where people get to meet each other that just moved out here or is there anyone out there in my position? Would be nice to see what Bahrain has to offer with the right company :)
