Places for sports (Manama)

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best places for:

1. Tennis lessons (never played before but played badminton and squash)
2. Play softball, flag football or basketball (Recreationally - yes I realise I am not American but I much prefer these sports!)
3. Horse riding lessons

I live in Amwaj, so something this side of the island would be preferable but lets be honest the islands not that big so its not a big issue if its not.

I have tried finding out myself but from my time in Bahrain so far I have found that word of mouth seems to be the best way to learn about clubs or places etc.
