Build a regional strategy for expansion of the companies relationships across all TMCs on a market by market basis
Own and implement expansion of the company’s product suite to include all relevant currencies
Drive BTA certification and implementation of top 5 TMCs by country
Build management structure for creation of regional TMC team
Support the long term development plan for the BTA product suite
Continue to develop commercial relationships with Travel Agents enabling Agent to become a distribution channel/lead generator for the company.
Management of Travel Agencies in the product portfolio. This will include conducting regular visits and business planning sessions to develop joint marketing plans, conversion strategies, etc. to move business to the company
Conduct regular (quarterly) business reviews with Travel Agents. Work closely with Finance to develop standardized, auditable reporting that will be used to track and pay out TA incentives
Monitor and report on acquisition activities, billings, pipeline, etc. of TA portfolio for internal business planning.
Co-Develop with Travel Agent marketing/comms plans to attract TA clients to the company
Work with product and marketing manager to develop a complete value proposition and resell to Travel Agent.
Engage with Card/BTA Product Management to conduct product and process training for Travel agents
Engage NPD technical resources to set up new agents
Act as central point of contract between Operations and Agent to resolve agent issues within portfolio
Achieve all performance metrics incl:
1. Protected content
2. Protected content
3. Protected content retention
4. Protected content held days and debt management
5. Protected content objectives
Strong knowledge of the Travel and Airline industry by market across the region
Partner management experience and understanding of regional TMC relationships
Understanding of all the companies products including but not limited to: Card/BTA CoBrand and the company value proposition, Loyalty programs including MR.
Deep understanding of competitive products in the market and able to communicate the brands USPs/ Points of differentiation to Travel Agents within portfolio
Financial acumen with analytical and strategic thinking
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
Project Management skills and high level technical understanding
Knowledge of Corporate Card / Financial Industry preferred.
Mix of B2B and B2C experience; preferred Degree level education or equivalent experience
