Visa for Spouse (Manama)

I am moving to Bahrain in a couple of weeks on work visa, my husband wants to move along too; my company won't directly be involved in processing visa for him however they will assist us with with any type of paper we would require to process his visa.
Does any body know if I can get a long term visa for him to stay with me (I mean not the tourist visa), if yes, what type of paper would I need to get his visa.
