HIKING/BACKPACKING IN THE LAKE DISTRICT (Manchester)

Hi Manchester Internations Community,

I wanted to reach out and get tips from the group on hiking in the Lake District. I am very active in the Philadelphia Internations Chapter and will be traveling alone from New York City to Manchester for a couple days and then plan to take the train up to Cumbria for a few days of hiking in the Lake District. I would appreciate any information, insights or advice from anyone who has been there. I can hike in the District alone but would prefer to hike for Protected content with a group. Does anyone know of any local hiking groups I could join? I'm looking to do this in September....hope to hear from you.
