Animal welfare NGO seeking campaign manager (Manila)
Network for Animals, a UK based animal welfare NGO that works on the Philippines dog meat issue, is hiring a Campaign Manager.
Work with field operatives to develop intelligence sources to maintain a complete understanding of the dog meat trade.
Utilize intelligence to coordinate raids in conjunction with police on dog meat transporters, slaughterhouses and restaurants.
Maintain relations with local government to encourage enforcement of anti dog meat legislation.
Maintain relations with media and act as media spokesperson.
Document enforcement actions and produce video, photos and copy for use in online and offline communications
Relations with other animal welfare NGOs
Outgoing and personable manner
Excellent English oral, written and presentational skills
Must be a self-starter who can deal with multiple and varied tasks at once
Knowledge of animal welfare issues and a commitment to the objectives of the organization
Ability and willingness to travel, if necessary
Thorough understanding of the Philippines political process
Good photo and video technical skills
Prior law enforcement and / or legal experience an asset.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
The position is home based.
