Arrived in town! (Manila)

I could kick myself. I have been in Manila for two weeks, and now thst I am leaving for Papanga/Pangasinan tomorrow I get an email from internations reminding me of the group. my wife and I want to live here at least part time to be closer to her family. Have been looking at both condos and houses. I am shocked to see how much has changed since our last visit 4 years ago. Well in order tto move here, we either need to start a business here, which i have also met with a company out of Panaque about a franchise. Or find a job which baffles me as so many expats work here, but yet I cant seem to find a company that would hire snd send me here. Any kind of pointers and suggestions are appreciated.
