Events outwith Manila

Hi

As I'm relatively new here, are there any events outwith Manila?
I'm currently in Urdaneta area, simply wish to meet like minded ex pats
Share tips and experiences etc. I find events in Manila are too far at present , means finding accommodation for one or two nights, plus the travel time from here is over four hours.
Then as we are all aware, the issues of the traffic into and through the city
