Expat kids in a local private school (Manila)

Hi,
Asking expats "Westeners" to please tell me their experiences about private local school in Metro Manila?
We are relocating soon to Manila from overseas and in a look out for a good school for my son who will start in Grade 4. Most International Schools I find out was shocking with their tuition fees (real expats school cost as much as .5M-1M pesos in total per year!) as even I converted it to NZ$ or AU$ it still is very expensive!! I don't have a package like them so need to do my own budgeting.

Anybody who can help me especially in similar position as us?
What private GRADE SCHOOL/ PRIMARY school you can recommend and how their child/children cope with the changes and environment?
