Getting a US Divorce Settled in Philippines? (Manila)

Hi,

I was married to my wife in the US about 6 years ago (I am from USA, and she is a non-Filipina, and non-American also living in here), and would like to file for divorce while still not living in the US. I have contacted the US Embassy, who cannot help at all in this process. Can anyone suggest a way to have this process handled while residing in Manila? Are there any attorneys here that can help with this? I have heard that it is possible to file for a divorce in a third country, but Philippines only has annulment, not divorce, and we do not want to go in that direction. Appreciate any advice and direction. Salamat.
