I will be in the Philippines Aug 2 through 7 for a look-see visit to get to know the area, scope out some apartments and a couple of business meetings. This visit will be a deciding factor in whether I relocate to the Philippines later this year. While I am there, I'd like to network with expats (over lunch, dinner or drinks), on Saturday Aug 3 and Sunday Aug 4, and possibly ask a few probing questions that may help my transition (if it occurs).
At the risk of being forward, would you be willing to meet with me? The question may sound more awkward than it is - apologies!
