I'm thinking of a move to Manila ??

Hi there, I'm new to the forum and are keen to learn more about the good and bad of living in Manila. I'm currently living in Sydney (Aust.), and have been offfered a transfer by my existing employer. I would be looking to move in the next few months.

I will be making an initial visit to Manila on the 2nd October to gain an appreciation of our existing business operations in the region and of course, to do some exploration of Manila etc.

I suppose the sort of questions I have are regading (in no particular order)... housing, safety and security, expat lifestyle, social/sporting opportunities etc.

I know there are forums etc, and I've already started to do some of my own online research however, what I was really hoping for is to meet up with a few Expats. to discuss these issues.

If anyone has some free time in Saturday 6th October, or even the 5th/7th, please let me know. Would love to chat with those in the the know !. Drinks are on me :).
