Manila Newbie

Hi
I am fairly new to Manila (we have been here five weeks now) work commitments meant that I had to leave the husband and the dog back home in Australia and have come to Manila with my two kids in tow... (somehow I think he got the better deal there!)

I am going out of my brain with boredom... where do expats hang out around here? Finally have the luxuary of having a nanny and have nowhere to go... I would love to meet some other people and get out and about exploring the place...

Also the kids are driving me nuts being cooped up in the apartment, does anyone know of any sports clubs or something I can send them to, to burn off some excess energy?

Any advice would be appreciated.
