New to town, social, kids, cleaner (Manila)

Hi All

My family and I moved from Austrailia to Manila just 2 weeks ago. We are living in Eastwood as that is where my work is (we have an office in Microsourcing)

My husband is working from home for his job back in Oz whilst also helping our kids with distance educations. W have a daughter 11 and a son 8.

So that is the introduction.

We are keen to meet other expats and find some social scenes, both for adults and some for our kids to attend.

We are also looking to hire a helper for our home. We would like someone who can come twice a week and clean our 3 bedroom apartment, maybe cook those days as well and hopefully get to the point that we are comfortable asking her to look after our kids occasionally - so my husband and I can have some time away!

So any help would be really appreciated. So far we are loving the experiences here - keen to get out of Eastwood a bit and explore.
