Paying Filipino virtual assistants (Manila)

I recently was in Manila and hired 3x virtual assistants to assist with my business.
This is the first time I have hired overseas workers, so I did my research and everything indicated that the easiest way to pay their wage would be via PayPal.

Unfortunately, because my PayPal account is in Australia and I am now living in Thailand.........PayPal flags every transaction as "suspicious" (even though I have updated my account to show that I am travelling and living abroad).
This means that every time I try to pay wages the transaction is blocked and I have to ring PayPal and spend an hour getting them to manually approve each transaction.

So, long story short......are there better options for paying wages from an Australian bank account to staff working in the Philippines?

Western Union? Simple Bank transfers?
