Possible move to Manila

Hello - my husband and myself and two children (youngest is 2) are considering a contract in Manila. Could I ask any of the community on this board if they could advise on housing. I don't want to live in an apartment and would prefer a garden/pool. Are there expat communities that have this. We would need to be close enough to a British school - any advice or tips are so welcome. I am going to start scrolling down the Expat Q and A now and see if I can gain more information. Thanks! J
