Recommended Batangas resort? (Manila)

Hi all!

Just wondering if anyone can share their thoughts on Batangas resorts?

1. Which of the following towns (San Juan/Laiya, Nasugbu) has a clean, swimmable beach area?

2. We intend to bus it from Manila. Roughly, what is the transport like from Batangas city to get to San Juan/Laiya & Nasugbu?
I have to pick one town and I realized that one is on the western side of Batangas and the other is on the east but just need to get a rough idea on how easy is it to get to either of these towns from the main town.

3. Any recommendations on resort for a day trip?
