Renovating a house in Lapu Lapu (Manila)

Hi all! My wife-to-be purchased a "sort-of-beat-up" row house in Lapu Lapu (Cebu) and I'll need to do some renovations. I'm a handy-man and I'll be bringing all of my cordless power tools and basic hand tools with me, so, doing the work isn't a problem.

I have one month to do it before coming back to Canada and the renovations are an unplanned expense, so the budget is tight..

What I need is to find is a good building supplier with a decent selection of materials at a good price. I'm not expecting to find a "Lowes" or a "Home Depot" but I'm hoping there's something comparable. Any suggestions?

Also, does anyone know if I'll have any trouble bringing my tools into the country? They're all un-packaged and well used...
