Tips about Philippines (Manila)

Hello everybody :)

My name is Mirko, I love travelling and I'm planning to spend Protected content at the Philippines this December; I've never been there before, althought I was travelling through Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and South of China last year.

I'll be landing in Manila, and then I'll move from there. :)

I like to visit the city but also the countryside with its nature and villages. I love nature, and I'm sure that Philippines has a lot to offer!

Any advice or recommendation about how to move around (is it worth to rent a bike?), where to sleep, where to go (beaches, villages, towns, nature, ecc), is gonna be very welcome.
