What car is suitable for Manila ??

Hi there,
Just an off beat question perhaps...
I'm relocating to Manila in January and would like to place an order for a vehicle next week when I arrive. Can some one give me advice as to what would be suitable ?.
I don't have a large family (just my partner and I). It needs to be large enough to accommodate Protected content and some luggage as we will be picking up people from the airport quite often.
Also in the hunt for a driver - any clues/tips on how I best start this search, what sort of security clearance etc they should have and what I should expect to pay ?
