ATTENTION: Schools Mannheim

Next September, my son of age of seven will enter in the 2nd year of the primary school.
He has some basic/average command of German language.
I am looking for a primary public school for him in the neighborhoods of:
University of Mannheim, Lindenhof, Niederfeld or Almenhot.

Please write your best recommendations.
Which schools to consider? Which ones to avoid? And so on…
It’s very hard for me to make a choice without knowing the place, but easy for most of you that are parents and live in Mannheim.
