Critical Software Mozambique, the new subsidiary of Critical Software in African Continent is looking for a Business Analyst.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the requirements and requests of the business, operations and other users of IT services, including the coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) exercises. This role acts as the contact for the business divisions and technology solution providers for all aspects of solution identification.
Defines, collects and analysis business requirements with business partners and clients.
Collaborate closely with functional analysts and application owners as the business/functional counterpart in solution identification and maintenance.
Supports the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and articulates
impacts and risks.
Prepares and creates business case(s) outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions.
Supports the preparation of feasibility studies and estimates.
Responsible for gaining agreement on solution business requirements with architects.
Supports and completes UAT and test case coordination with the business.
Work with the business to design effective processes (Business Process Management).
Supports Application Services teams in functional test case generation and test result validation.
Essential Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in business analysis in financial services industry
Expertise in conceptualization and solution definition
Maturity and persuasiveness to engage in business dialogue and support stakeholders
Broad knowledge and awareness of Reference Data business solutions in the marketplace
Intermediate knowledge of business analysis methods and tools
Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirements
Ability to work in virtual teams and matrixed organizations
Ability to commit and prioritize work duties and tasks
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English (written/verbal)
Additional language(s) are an advantage
Education | Certification:
Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business, Information Systems or Computer Science (or equivalent diploma/work experience).
