NGO looking for Video/Media Volunteer (Maputo)

Hi all,

iDE (ideorg.org) began operations in Mozambique in January Protected content the goal of improving the income and livelihood opportunities of the rural poor. iDE Mozambique uses an integrated value-chain development approach to implement agricultural development initiatives that increase the productivity and income of small farms, which face numerous constraints, including a lack of market information, little access to productivity-enhancing inputs and technology, dependency on rain-fed agriculture and minimal access to credit. iDE is recruiting a volunteer with video skills to highlight our projects in Mozambique. More details/qualifications are below:

-Ability to speak English/Portuguese (Portuguese required)
-Ability to obtain footage in Mozambique while coordinating with a remote team (based in Lusaka, Zambia, and Colorado, USA)
-Ability to travel to field sites and obtain footage of rural extension service providers and smallholder farmers
-Video/media experience preferred but not required
-Candidate should have some sort of video capturing device (preferably a video camera or camera with video capabilities, but it can even be a medium-grade smart phone that can capture decent video)
-Candidate ideally has access to a computer

Compensation: this is an unpaid, volunteer position. However, the candidate has the opportunity to learn about the smallholder agriculture sector in Mozambique, connect with iDE's extensive network around the world (over Protected content in 13 countries), and collaborate with a highly qualified pro-bono video producer in Denver, Colorado.
