1 month in Morocco (Marrakech)

Hi, I' m from IN cape town and want to spend 1 month, sept, away. Yes, I like short term planning...A few basic questions:
How easy is it to get around?
How much money per day would I more or less need? I don't need luxury but do like good food :)
How available is internet? I would need to work a bit as wel...
Anybody with an extra room I could stay in for the first week?
