Anyone live in Toulon? (Marseille)

Hi all,

I just moved to the South of France in a town called La Seyne Sur Mer. It is closer to Toulon than Marseille. I am a painter and am finding I am spending an unhealthy amount of time locked up in my studio and am seeking some friends or fellow english speakers to go out and spend a day or night with, either visiting cool places or just having a beer at a pub or cafe. My French is terrible (I'm working on it with the help of Rosetta Stone) I am becoming a hermit and I was curious if anyone else has felt to cold chill from some of the locals and needs a good old Canadian friend to joke drink and have a good time with.
