This is to announce an exciting event, hosted by Coopazur, an important agricultural cooperative, here in Provence.

The idea came to us during lockdown, while we were experimenting new ways of being sociable, while having to respect social distancing: virtual aperitives, quiz evenings, Zoom chats to name a few. And so we combined all these new ideas and created our Summer Esti’Var evenings.

The first Thursday evening event of this very ambitious project is set for 23 July followed by the 30 July, 6 and 13 August.
Our guests will be both presential (actually at the venue) and remote (in their own homes using technology to take part). There will be wine-tastings and various workshops allowing our guests to experience the Provence lifestyle.

The remote guests from around the world will be invited, free of charge, to take part in our quiz using their smart phone and computer or tablet, and will feel part of everything going on as we’ll be meeting the producers, and hosting the quiz in both English and French, all displayed on your screens via Zoom!

The aims are multiple - to bring together local Provençal producers and consumers, to learn about wine from Provence and other local products through culture and fun!!! And being innovative in our methods, combining tradition and modernity in an international environment.

If you would like to be involved in this event and take part in the quiz, then it is our pleasure to invite you as international participants. It’s all for a bit of fun, but the top scorers both locally and from afar will win prizes! You can take part individually or with a partner or a team. We’d love to see you on the giant screen, but only if you decide to switch on your camera of course!!!
