Looking to move to MAU (Mascarene Islands)

Hi all!. Very new to this forum and I hope you can give some insight. My husband is a professional mountain bike mechanic. He works for Team Bulls (German team) when they are in SA (They just won the Cape Epic :)) He also has his own business working on high-end bikes. We heard that the mountain bike community in MAU is growing and as we are keen on travelling while the kids are still young, we thought we will give the island life a go.

Any avid mountain-bikers out there that can tell us about the industry in Mauritius?
