Relocation Advice (Mascarene Islands)

Hello
We are moving to Mauritius at the beginning of January and this has all happened in the last couple of days! I would love to get advice on where expat English speakers tend to live. We are golfers and would love to join a nice golf club and the children (7&9) we would like get into an English school though they could just as easily go to a french school as they are fluent, as we lived in Belgium for 6 years.
Would love to hear any advice as we need to make decisions.
