Bringing Household to Colombia (Medellin)

I have been living in Panama and have a full apartments worth of handpicked furniture and household goods. i am looking at moving to medellin.

does anyone know if is there any affordable way of getting this into the country, without spending a fortune on taxes? google tells me i'm looking at 20% import tax and 16% IVA based on full cost of every item (purchase price + shipping costs).

is this really the case for a full relocation?
