Divorced in USA, still married in Colombia?! (Medellin)

Two yrs ago I married and Colombian woman and in the meantime I applied for residency in Colombia while living in the USA. We have decided to divorce and I am wondering if I am still considered married in Colombia? Do I have to give up my Colombian residency? Where do I stand as far as meeting someone and wanting to get married again while living in Colombia? Will I be able to help her (future new gal) get a US Visa If we marry? Any Information will be greatly appreciated.
