Recommendation on Finding a Babysitter (Medellin)

Hello Everyone,
Do most expat families rely on the maid to watch the children if the parents want to go out for a night? If not what do the familiies do to find a babysitter? I know it will take a while for us to be ready before we would do it, but wanted to get the question out there for discussion to gain some insight.
