Advice for LAFHA (Living Away From Home Allowance) (Melbourne)

Hi all,

I was prompted by someone regarding this LAFHA (Living Away From Home Allowance) scheme, which is some kind of Tax Benefits designed to help oversea employees to cover the additional costs of relocating and living away from their usual place of residence for employment.

I did try to Google it but couldn't find anything official to make a sense of it. I'm wondering if anyone would be able to help and offer some advice on this matter?
