Average Salary for a Family of 4 in Melbourne

Hi All

Im hoping someone may be in a possition to assist me!!
We have been given an offer by my Husbands employer to reloctae to Melbourne, Eastern Suburbs seems to take our fancy for now!
Im guessing rent would be no less than Protected content week so my question is...
Would 180k AUS be sufficient for a family of Protected content 2 kids 7 & 3)
I would be taking some time out from work initially but hope to return within 6 months (my employer also has a base in Melbourne)
I do understand it is all relative to how you live, we would like to be comfortable but in no way extravagant!
Any feedback would be great.
