Dog immigration from china to Australia (Melbourne)

Hello again!
I am shifting from China to Australia and also want to move my dog with me. I understand that dogs are not directly allowed from China to Australia. I have checked my dog breed and her breed can immigrate. She is medium sized dog.

What is the best way to immigrate a dog by air or by sea? any idea how much it costs, preparation work like visa, vaccination precautions, is it that critical so i need to hire an agent etc

Sorry I have no idea about it coz its my first time so pls help me for this.
