Moving to the Melbourne/Brighton Area soon

Hey Everyone!

My husband has recently accepted an assignment in Melbourne, and my kiddo Protected content , myself and the hubby will be arriving in the area in June. I have been researching the area, but figured since I have never lived outside the USA, I would connect with others who live in the area. Any advice on schools, things to do, things to avoid, etc?

Any info would be helpful :)
