Steps to Obtaining a Job & PR in Australia (Melbourne)

Hi there,

Let me first introduce myself. From Kuala Lumpur, I'm 24 and I'm a Bachelor's Degree holder in Visual Communication. I have 2 years of working experience as a Graphic Designer(branding&identity, editorial design, collateral design) and also as a Digital Designer(web design, UI/UX design) in a design studio.

I plan to work in Australia to gain new experiences and broaden my knowledge in the art & design industry by soaking and exploring in a multi-cultural environment while meeting new people. As a matter of fact, art & design is valued and appreciated less in Malaysia compared to Australia. I do believe that Australia has a lot to offer in this particular field and would be a great platform for growth.

Of course, the most important question would be, does Australia still accept young foreign employees? If yes, what would be my first step? Do I start looking for a job first or do I apply for the right visa first?

It would be great if I can be lead to some valuable information websites.
