Awesome places for cycling (road bikes). (Mexico City)

Hola!

I reside in San Miguel de Allende and would like to learn some of the wonderful places to tour/ride here in México. I look forward to traveling and seeking out new destinations.

I'm primarily a road cyclist (carbon fiber) looking for places to ride/train here in preparation for Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy and/or California, United States where I love to go once a year for a few weeks.

I've not found many cycling clubs in my area so far so I figured some of you might be able to help offer some suggestions.
