Coyoacan, Relocating from Mazatlan, Thoughts? (Mexico City)

Hello,

I am new to this forum and am relocating to DF, in searching areas and talking to friends from the area I am leaning towards Coyoacan. I have lived in Santa Monica, Newport Beach and various parts of Los Angeles. Coyoacan seems to have a similar vibe to Los Feliz or Silver Lake. Does anyone live here? What are the pros and cons? I am a consultant and work from home but eventually I will need to secure small office space, is this feasible in Coyoacan? Once I get settled a couple years down the road I could see myself in Santa Fe but for now, being single, living in a historic part of town would be nice.
