I am currently working as an Educational Services Coordinator for a Refugee and Immigration Services Center in Seattle. My current clients range from low-skilled refugees and immigrants to former Doctors/Dentists/Engineers. I teach my clients how to navigate the US job market, form business plans if they wish to run their own businesses, and form partnerships with local business to develop pipelines for certain professions.
I am looking to move to D.F. and would like to work in a similar capacity. I have an M.S. in International Studies, with a focus on migration and disaster management, and a B.A. in History. I lived in Guatemala for 6 months last year, and speak fairly good Spanish. I also speak basic Arabic and French.
