Nevado de Toluca National Park (Mexico City)

Hello All! Our family would love to take a camping trip to the Nevado park outside of Toluca. Friends of ours drove us through last year and now that we've settled into life in Mexico, we feel this would make a great family vacation. We would love to hear from someone who has rented cabins there or knows anything specific about the park. We would ask our friends who took us but we are afraid that they would want to go along and right now it's important for us to be able to take our 14 and 15 year old kiddos on a stirctly family camping trip. If anyone has any information we'd greatly appreciate it. Of course we've done the on-line research but we are still in the early stages of learning Spanish so it's a bit difficult to plan a trip from Guerrero (taxco) when all the info is in Spanish!
